The KCT Group Trust partnered with the Thapar Unversity recently and launched the Thapar University Scholarship award. The award was introduced to support merituous students.
In a recently held award ceremony at the Thapar University, main auditorium the very first scholarship was awarded to a young boy, Ranveer Singh. 10 first year students were shortlisted , among whom Ranveer was identified as deserving of the scholarship. Son of a farmer , Ranveer himself is allergic to wheat and therefore has to stay away from home and study.
The award was presented by Mr. VK Arora in the presence of Ms.Shomaree Dey along with the Director and Dean of the University.
